August 17, 2009 I petitioned the Board for the implantation of a Standard Business Plan, complete with a monthly P&L and Balance Statement that is mandatory business procedure. There has been a reluctance to produce a Business Plan by the BoD in the past, this includes the Executive Director (a non voting member of the Board). Due to the lack of professional guidance by the Executive Director, this has cost our Sun City Community over $6,575.00 per day for a total exceeding $12,000,000.

CONCLUSIONS:

• The FY2010 Business Plan Summary presented by Mr. Winkel is NOT A Business Plan, Mr. Winkel reluctantly admitted there was not a Executive Summary of a Business plan, there is no Plan!
• The reluctance of the Board to produce a Business Plan for the residents is Not Acceptable.
• The reluctance of the Board to address LOSSES of this magnitude is Not Acceptable.
• It is MANDITORY to form an independent Commission to apply the components of Business Plan for an Established Business to the Sun City Business.

I will be petitioning the Sun City Board of Directors for the implantation of a Standard Business Plan for the Sun City Business at the Aug 17th Board Meeting. My written request for a Standard Business Plan to be placed in the July 20, 2009 Board Meeting was denied by Mr. Post/President and I was instructed that any request had to be presented at the Resident Comments portion of the BoD meeting & must be in PERSON.
