Re: Highland Falls G.C. Maintenance Project/4th fairway perimeter

Mr. Kramzar
Since your email was directed to Brian Bagwell and Sue Papillion I am not sure why Mr. Caroccia felt the need to reply. This is even more upsetting when he gave erroneous information.
I an not sure what Mr. Caroccia means when he states that he is not "involuted." However, Mr. Caroccia is simply wrong when he either states or implies that the Common Area Properties (CAP) Committee has anything to do with Golf Course maintenance schedules. Being a 10 year Board member he should know better. It does not. Nor does the Landscape Committee which is a sub-committee of CAP.
You are correct. The ED through the golf course maintenance department is responsible for golf course maintenance project schedules and actual work. Once CAP approves a general work scope it is final approved by the Board. ARC then approves the final work as to the appearance. The work is then given to golf maintenance for scheduling and actual completion. CAP is out the project by that time.

Ken, thanks for your insight into the management chain of command here in Sun City Summerlin. What I hear you saying is that the Golf Course/Landscape Maintenance Dept. is under the supervision  of the Property Committee, chaired by Director Bruce Alitt,/sub-committee, chaired by Allen Bell.

First of all I thought that the normal day to day maintenance operations was the responsibility of the Golf Course/Landscape Dept. overseen by the Executive Director. My neighbors and myself have continually informed the Board, Executive Director and Dept Heads of these neglected maintenance conditions that affects our homes. I will be glad to share my backup documents for a better overview of the situation.

Ken, Thanks for responding. We home-owners are not looking for answers, we are looking for the commitment that is outlined in Sun City's original governing documents.

P.S. I love your note stationary.

Dwain I am not involuted with this because this is coming from Property Committee also this is a Sub Committee for Property for this landscaping
Bruce Alitt is the Chair of Property
Allen Bell is the Sub Committee chair
Maybe one of these people could give you some answers
Sorry Ken Caroccia

Brian,
I want to thank you for finally starting the long overdue Highland Falls G.C. Maintenance Project/4th fairway perimeter. As you know this project was initiated April 2014 then stopped. Mid August I requested a copy of the planned work/order and schedule for this project completion date, this I have not yet received.

Brian
, my neighbors and I would be glad to meet with your superiors to share our frustrations. Would you suggest meet with the Executive Director and of the Board of Directors.

Work completed:
  • Partial load of rock delivered & left in pile.
  • Roger visited job site.
  • six shrubs removed.
  • A couple of irrigation drip lines installed.

Brian,
My neighbors and I are wondering what is the status of the Highland Falls G.C. Maintenance Project/4th fairway perimeter. As you know this project was initiated last May then delayed for various reasons. Your last update promised completion by September. We would appreciate the schedule date and a copy of w/o of work to be done by return email.

Thanks, if you have any questions don't hesitate to give me a call.
