Due to the failure of this HOA to provide the provisions defined in the Sun City Summerlin governing documents all further HOA Dues are paid under Protest.
The Association's purpose is, with reasonable governance and rules, to provide for the care and maintenance of the facilities in a cost effective manner, and to create an atmosphere which encourages new and old residents to maintain the active lifestyle they have sought by moving to the community.

Failure to provide Cost effective manner:
- Failure of Board & Management to provide Independent Internal Audit over Financial Reporting

- Refusal of Board to implement a Business Plan/P&L for our cash business.
- Violating Fiduciary Duties: BoD's proposal & approval of Membership Dues to fund mismanaged business ventures at a yearly cost of $500 to each member.
- BoD's selection of unqualified personnel to manage $65 million associations assets.
- co-mingled for-profit ventures & membership unaudited Assets & Liabilities on Balance Sheet.
- Misuse of membership Yearly Dues to Fund Golf & Business Losses
- EXAMPLE: Highland Falls G.C. Maintenance Project/4th fairway perimeter
- Four Years & still not completed
- Hundreds of Sun City residents have had the same experience with SCSCAI Management.
My seventeen years experience as a retired resident-homeowner in Sun City Summerlin has witnessed many changes in the vision and lifestyle stated in original governing documents. This is due to the Sun City leadership's Pledge of Allegiance and an oath of loyalty to the HOA, not the membership they serve.
Buying a retirement home in this HOA is the worst single mistake I have made.
