Re: 5 Starr Gaming for the Vista Grill.

Mr. Kramzar,  I thank you for your long time interest in the operations and administration of SCSCAI.  I served on the board for two years and while I accomplished little in terms of correcting the mismanagement, I had a good time.  I liked most of the Directors, Marilyn & Co. was still on the board, and they fully understood me.  They filed charges against me and had their attorney take me to the Bar.  They knew they couldn't win and got nothing for their efforts.  Anytime you or anyone else want to take legal action against the Board I can assure you the minutes will fully support your arguments.

There is no one who has given more to this community in terms of legal assistance than myself.  For two years I did from the stage what I had done for 15 years from the floor.  My support was overwhelming and of course we won every battle.

Dwain, get real.  The Directors know what they are doing and why.  The members do not and even with someone on the board willing to tell it like it is, no one will speak up in a way to provide CHANGE.

Mr. Steve, I want to thank you for pointing out to the Board that they are the homeowners elected representives and it's there duty to do just that, represent us all. FYI: In the fifteen years that I have lived in Sun City I have probably attended more Board meetings than most Directors, excluding the career Directors Stienman/Caroccia/Akers. Most of these meetings that I attended were to acquire there insight and thinking, in order to see just how this retirement community was being operated. It took some time to realize that there were good people elected to the Board that soon developed a bad case of group-think, you know the rest.

The Board has refused to acknowledge home-owners concerns including lifestyle, health & welfare of the residents, this being a perfect example. They demean and degrade any member that isn't part of this HOA's Group-Think.

Below I have placed [my comments] to Crawfords accusations.

  1. He , Kramzar,, was asked to participate and refused.  Simple as that. [this is false,  I have documentation do you? I  assume Crawford is repeating the same falsehood that Alitt has posted acting as spokesman for Director Papilion. Director Papilion is being mute, why?]
  2. Monday morning quarterbacks now weigh in.  Rather then participate and help, they try and point out flaws after the fact. [is what you are saying is, that there is flaws?]  Their motives are not honorable. [I would highly recommend each and every Sun City resident invest the time to visit these properties and judge for themselves, it's your community. Let the Sun City community decide who is dishonorable, me or you!]
  3. ask me respectfully and I will answer respectfully [Great Idea, have you been respectful?]
I sincerely hope more home-owners start paying attention,

Your first paragraph below truly shows you and 'seawolf' do NOT belong on the Sun City BOD. Both of you are condescending and insulting to the people who voted you into office and to the people who will vote you out. Perhaps I should ignore you. That would be the same as everyone else who does NOT attend BOD meetings.  Now that I have stated that: your second paragraph reply is appreciated.

Let me try and understand you.  I was telling you , I thought quite clearly, that if you want a response from me, ask me respectfully and I will answer respectfully.  I will not answer someone who asks many people a question.  I thought that was a simple comment , easily understood.  My intent was to tell you why you would not get an answer from me.  I take offense with your quibbling.  You know what and why I said what I did.  I was telling you with certainty why in the future you would not hear from me on such queries instead of just ignoring you.  Perhaps I should have ignored you?

Now that you have asked me specifically:

He , Kramzar,, was asked to participate and refused.  Simple as that.  Note that there was ample time and occasions for anyone to give an opinion or comment.  Board meetings, coffee with the Board, committee meetings.   Several residents did participate and helped shape the events that transpired. The LINK discussed what was happening.  Of course as usual, the Monday morning quarterbacks now weigh in.  Rather then participate and help, they try and point out flaws after the fact.  Their motives are not honorable.

Since you had the time to respond you could have answered my concern rather than state, "I do not answer emails requesting a response that is sent to many people". That would have been the logical thing to do.

I observed that 5 Starr's main objective is placement of slot-machines and not providing a social environment for our community, frankly their Saloon operation is not a good fit for our Sun City Community. I would highly recommend each and every Sun City resident invest the time to visit these properties and judge for themselves, it's your community.

I have offered to share my forty-five years experience as owner/operator of Gaming/slot-machine company with this Director/chairman and past Director/chairmans to help them ask the proper questions, and avoid another train wreck, when making their decisions, these offers were ignored.
