Re: [SC-SCOOP] False and misleading information

Stan Bjonerud:

If you take the time to read the IRS "Explanation of items" From 886-A, maybe you will better comprehend the analysis of the IRS Ruling 70-604. Also the 2/14/12 emergency Board meeting is to settle the taxes owed. I believe you could better serve the Sun City community by questing the lack of oversight provided by the past BoD's.

As noted in $528(1). the Taxpaver  is disallowed  from filing form 1120H because the Taxpayer  does not meet the 907o expenditures  test outlined  in IRC 528. This means the Taxpaver  is required to file Form 1120 and is subject to the Federal corporate tax rates.

You are calling me a liar for stating what you had published in your Election Flyer available on your table in the back at the Residents Forum Candidates Day. I picked up a copy so don't say it doesn't exist. Your printed words are:

"All our Sun City Association businesses have gotten us into tax trouble with the IRS according to the Audit below.  For 2010 IRS says we have $1,999,000 more taxable income than we reported."

The Village Voice stated what you published in your Flyer was not true as our businesses did not get us into tax trouble with the IRS. There was no error as the IRS found our accounting and documentation to be good and acceptable. They reclassified $1.9 million as income based on their new interpretation. This will not result in any tax payment as the Association has a $4.5 million loss carry forward. Perhaps you should reevaluate and accept what you state in writing in you Flyer instead of calling others liars.

Dear Stan:

Yes, Stan, I issued the summary of the Sun City Audit. I stand behind what is written there.   And it does say "All our Sun City Association businesses have gotten us into tax trouble with the IRS according to the Audit below.  For 2010 IRS says we have $1,999,000 more taxable income than we reported.  We're just raising our own assessments (dues) to pay taxes we could have avoided if we ran our Association properly."  However, that statement is not in my Election Flyer.  You have quoted me out of context which made it difficult to find those few words.

I was further confused by your statement which says "They found no errors."  But then you admit they did disallow $1.9 million.

Dear Folks,

As you are well aware the IRS wants us to pay them.  My point in writing this is simply to point out to Mr. Stan Bjonerund and his followers that the information STAN published in this Village Voice was wrong.  He said that I was wrong about the tax liability of the Association.  I was right.  His statements were erroneous and defamatory.

Will STAN ever admit he is wrong?  Does he owe me an apology?  Does anyone care that Stan puts out false information?
